Whether you want to create different variants of fonts based on your own personal designs or make money by selling unique templates, you can easily turn any of your typefaces into a template:
Create a font template
From the Home view, tap & hold on any font
Tap Save as Template
Or:
In Fontself, tap the Sharing icon (on the top right) and tap Save as Template
Tap any of the following options to save or share the file
Use a font template
Just tap on any font template to start a new empty font (the template characters will show up as dimmed glyphs in the background)
Export a template
From the Home view, tap any template you created
Tap Export to save your template file
Import a template
Launch the Files app
Locate your font template—it's a file with the extension
.fstemplate
Select the archive and tap Share
Pick the Fontself app icon
Et voilà: the template font will be imported as a new copy to avoid overwriting any previous version.
Delete a template
If you delete a template, don't worry: each font using it on the background is keeping a copy in its archive data, to avoid bad surprises.
